clottey has more explosiveness in his punches as well, however cotto throws with very good technique and might have a slight edge in speed which also helps with power.

iv got clottey winning this by late TKO, i think cotto hasn't learned from his mistakes or improved his conditioning and i think clottey will hurt cotto to the body.
Clottey doesn't have more power, he might be stronger, but if we are talking punching power, Cotto hits harder.

i dont think cotto is gonna look to ko him.... the game plan should be outworking josh.... make the most when he turns into turtleshell mode... and win this one on points very clear... if something good is landed.. well.. try to go for the kill... besides that.. it should be a boxing chess match for cotto....

the less he trade toe to toe with clottey. the best chances he will have...

cottos speed its gonna have to be at the best for this one.

That's what I like about this fight. That any one of them could win. You can't say this for a lot of fights. Glad Cotto and Clottey agreed on this.

Pull..why do you dislike Cotto so much to the point that anything he does you find a way to discredit him?..

He's an exciting fighter who takes on ALL comers..doesn't say no to ANY challenge..and has never..I repeat NEVER been in a boring match..what is it about Cotto that you obsessively hate so much?..I'm just curious...
          Paulie vs. Cotto wasnt exciting.

Yeah, I agree. I think Cotto's best bet is to stay on the outside and box. His jab is great, but I am not sure if it would land too much if Clottey keeps his guard high up.

Even tho Cotto is the harder hitter, I actually think it's a disadvantage for him to trade shots up close. This is where the chin factor comes into play. I think Clottey is tougher than Cotto. If Clottey is able to land wit regularity Cotto won't last. His strategy should be movin in and out and lookin to score points wit quick flurries. Cotto needs to focus on his speed advantage as opposed to his punchin power. If he stands and trades, Clottey will bust him up and stop him.

Yes, Clottey's inside game is better. A lot of people don't realize his hands are pretty quick and he can double and triple up on hooks.

not against clottey tho... NYC is clottey's town

I know you probably do it to get a rise out of people cause you've said the exact same thing, even used the same exact wording multiple times. "it is the PR parade day after all".
maybe cotto fights extra hard before PR parade day so that the victory is assured.
