Floyd Mayweather is a bad advert for Boxing. Thats why i dont understand the people who support him. He is reflective of everything that is wrong with modern Boxing. His attitude, his cherry picking of fighters, and treating Boxing fans like something he just wiped of his shoe.
Disrespecting former great fighters.
Before fights he acts as though he is a cross between Mike Tyson and Gerald McClellan. However when he gets into the ring he fights more like a cross between Hector Camacho and Cory Spinks.
Guys like him are the reason there sport is floundering in America.
How can you support this guy and call yourself a Boxing fan?
I am a fan of Floyd for his skills as a fighter, I think his "cherry picking" is over exaggerated and feel people just try to find new things to blame him for, I don't think his personality is bad to be honest, it is called promoting a fight... after every fight he is respectful so you can't use that against him, it gets the viewers paying because he plays the bad guy so they pay to watch him lose. Your saying guys like him is the reason the sport is floundering in America... well every thread with his name on it gets the most replies and views so he can't be doing that bad to the sport if hes that popular, come on Dynamite stop these threads there getting out of control from everyone. Fair enough if you dislike him I don't care, your life your choice... but are these threads really necessary?Comment

People saying his style is boring and sh^t are either blinded by hatred or spew what the rest of the crowd says. If you watch Floyd pre 140 he is anything but boring.
Only two of his fights I would consider 'boring' and that's the Oscar fight, which I actually enjoyed and the Baldomir fight. His fights with, Coralles, Hatton, Gatti, Ndou, Herndez etc. were not boring fights.
He isn't a bad advert for the sport, he proves that boxing is something you have to work hard and understand.
Just a question for Dynamite kid, who would you say has the better resume Floyd or Tyson?Comment

Its not over exaggerated if you are claiming to be the best. You are under more scrutiny than any other fighter when you are in that position.
No the guy just has no class, and you can see where he gets from when you listen to his uncle and father.
Not all people pay to see him lose. People also pay to watch a good competitive fight.
His theads get hits because there are "so called Boxing fans'" out there that actually have the audacity to claim they are Boxing fans yet contradict that notion by supporting his actions inside and outside the ring, thats why people get vexed.
Dont come that cop out "hate" If he fought the best fighters out there no one would be bothered what he did.
I cant see how someone can justify being a fan of this guy. If they are a fan of Boxing and care about the welfare of the sport you would not condone his actions. Yet most of his fans do, they make excuses for him to.
Some fighters enhance the reputation of the sport. Floyd had devalued the reputation of the sport. Some legacy eh.
Boxing is about the best fighting the best PERIOD. No ifs or but.Comment
