The issue is what happened subsequent to those fights, and you know it.

      To clarify things a bit:

Joan Guzman is from the Dominican Republic.

Tito Trinidad is from Puerto Rico.

They both have African roots in their family.

Tito may likely have Taíno Indian ancestry in his family.

      Both are Hispanic.

That said, If they let Manny, who is champion caliber, get anywhere near Floyd Mayweather, it will likely be for the money, and not necessarily for the win.

      I said it.

Diaz was originally planned as a testing the water fight in a new division; Pac at that time was planning to stay at Lightweight for a while and if he had done so, he'd have fought the top fighters in the division subsequently, just as he did in all the previous divisions he'd been in. Then the De La Hoya opportunity came up, followed by the Hatton opportunity, and he changed all his plans.

Very ignorant comment!!! Pacman has fought the best in every division he's been in! No matter race.

the thing guzman cant fight pac he must fight more elite one before pac.

he can fight jmm, morales, mab before pac.

guzman canceled his 2 last fight, one with a tall british guy and a papa nate.

and have a lot of trouble making weight. he needs to fight more.

guzman is also a boring fighter. after kelley ther is no other black

fighter to match pac back then.

                      What an idiot!!

As if he makes conscious decisions to avoid fighters with a certain skin tone.
