Floyd Announcing Comeback On May 2nd?

someone let me know if this has already been posted. Ive been making a ton of post lately saying that if Floyd doesnt sign the JMM by that date then he's not going to fight JMM because Hatton would fight JMM if he won and Pac would fight Floyd or JMM if he won. Even moreso I started thinking that its too late at this point because they havent gotten a deal done yet, I dont see them signing one between now and next week, and JMM will probably just wait until after the 2nd now because he knows he will be the top guy on Hatton's list and 50/50 with Floyd on Pac's list. Thats why I just made that big thread saying that I dont see this fight happening anymore if it was ever seriously going to happened anyway.

Sure enough as soon as I write it, I just went to another site and saw that they are reporting that "rumor" has it that Floyd will call a press conference on May 2nd where he is expected to announce his comeback. I always thought everything was too late because May 2nd was almost here so I thought the JMM fight was out the picture but it never crossed my mind that they may already have a deal signed and are just waiting for a big stage to announce it on. Maybe there not announcing a JMM fight but just announcing the comeback. or then again, maybe it is just a "rumor". Who the hell knows anymore?

co-sign, honestly for floyd to call out his comeback on fight night thats pretty classless & a new low. these guys are gonna go in and lay it all on the line for us, n he's trying to steal the thunder? i can understand the business side of it if they announce it on hbo during the broadcast with millions watching and all, but still he's floyd mayweather remember, the top draw, he doesnt need to do that.

This makes him seem like a complete attention whore if he does infact announce it on fightnight.

          2009 Mayweather Jr. Update!

Rumor has it that a press conference will be called on the day of Pacquiao-Hatton to announce the highly expected return form retirement of Floyd Mayweather Jr. WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez has been mentioned as a possible opponent for Floyd. It has also been confirmed that Mayweather Jr. and promoter Don King could join forces in Floyd’s return.

They should do this like WWE if Pac wins. It would be cool if Floyd was there watching the fight and they brought him into the ring during the post fight interview to tell everyone that he wants Pac next

Haha, some of you guys and your pride. If you enjoy having PBF in boxing, can't you just be excited for both events? I mean, no one is pointing a gun to your head making you choose sides. It makes you look bias when you say Pacquiao/Hatton is bigger and better than PBF returning, when in reality it is all the same. Its entertainment.
