He has been pretty inconsistent since he fought Hopkins. He's disappointing to say the least, so much speed and natural athleticism, yet I have serious doubts about his training habits and lifestyle. I wanted to bet on him against Froch, but I decided to wait for the weigh-in, and sure enough the man looks pretty damn soft, unlike Froch. I don't wanna hear excuses about weight, the man can make middleweight and be a monster if he trains hard, if he's gonna move up, don't do it so that you can get away with extra fat, train right man...
Why does Taylor look so soft?

Yeah Froch is taking his opportunity at the prime-time pretty serious, Taylor on the other hand was looking soft, kinda glassy eyed (CAN'T be scared, right?), and was boring as crap. Oh now he's humble again? He already ran that mouth wayy too much right before he got knocked out. Redeem yourself son, don't offer all that talk about being humble and needing the strap if you aint even gonna train man.. Ahh I want to root for him but I'm so disappointed in him, again....Comment

He looked soft because he uses lotion on his skin, but seriously if you are basing how soft he looked in comparison to Froch in the weigh in photos, consider that when Froch was flexing he was giving it everything he had while Taylor looked relaxed. Also remember looks don't mean **** in boxing, and Taylor at least to me didn't look rock solid either in the fight with Lacy.Comment

Not so sure where you going with that...
Yeah, but this is pretty far from his best effort. He looked far better in his previous weigh-ins. Even against Pav where he was supposedly way overweight not long before the fight.Comment

Was I the only one disappointed in him in the Lazy Lacy fight? He should have finished Lacy, he shouldn't even be a contender at the top level anymore. He's a gatekeeper at best. Taylor should be at Middleweight where he has his size advantage, and I'm not comparing him to Froch, that's far too embarrassing. I'm comparing to his former performances. And unless you're Juan Diaz, looks do mean a lot. It's a reflection of your training. And we know genetics isn't the problem for Taylor, it's work ethic in the gym.He looked soft because he uses lotion on his skin, but seriously if you are basing how soft he looked in comparison to Froch in the weigh in photos, consider that when Froch was flexing he was giving it everything he had while Taylor looked relaxed.
