                I have not seen this fight in years but I remember having Mayorga ahead even after the point deductions. I think I had a 114-112 Mayorga verdict. I think the referee made a few questionable calls that turned out to be crucial in a somewhat close fight and that in itself might be a reason to have a rematch. Fights should always be decided by the performances of the fighters, not the referees.
