I was getting happy when Byrd got knocked down, but I give him credit for coming back after losing the first half or so of the fight!!! Cong**** Chris!!!

Yes, well done...giving away 56 pounds and taking those shots was pretty gutsy. He couldn't punch his way out of a wet paperbag, but he boxes brilliantly that's for sure.Cong****.

yes Byrd is great but...... why Golota was robbed and not have title vs. Byrd?? Im from Poland and i think i hate USA sometimes.......

I, myself was a Byrd hater. Not a major fan yet, but Byrd did show a few things that answer the question "Why is Chris Byrd a HeavyWeight?

He can take a punch.

He can recover from a punch when he is rocked.

He is primarily a boxer but he did rock Mcline.

I was happy to him go down, but at the end of the fight, I was pleased that he won. I do not think he can get by Vitali, but I give him a better chance of winning that fight now. After the Golata fight I thought Vitali would chew him up and spit him out. He should go for the rematch with Wlad. That is a HW that Byrd could easily KO.

Am I a devoted Byrd Fan? NO
Do I think he has a chance to beat anybody in the HW division? Yup

Dont you remember the first fight between them.

No its Vit and chris who got unsettled buizness.

Chris is a good boxer and got a good chin, but vit will take him one way ore the other.
