I ain't been a Mr boat buyer fan for a couple yrs now homey. And I agree he will never fight Cotto anyway. But this thread is hypothetical my ******. If they did fight, by no means am I sayin he'd walk Cotto down and beat him into the ground. But thru accumulation, I think Mr boat buyer would set up a late rd KO via counterpunch.

The thing with Cotto though is he doesn't pressure you in a way where he tries trapping you. He sets you up and his timing is heavily underrated. You don't need to be super fast to beat Floyd, guys like Chop Chop and Castillo landed heavy leather on Floyd (matter of fact Floyd got wobbled by Chop Chop too).

Cotto at this point has more tools in the box than Shane can bring to the table and Shane's shown he's got trouble with Boxers who utilize their jab and move around the ring picking their shots. Floyd's gotta be on the offensive against both Shane or Cotto to have a chance to hurt them. I'm not too positive Floyd will try exchanging with either guy, but relying on counter punching isn't going to win Floyd the fight with either guy.

What I meant, that he wont put himself in the position to KO Cotto, To do that he will have to come forward and fight, and he aint doing that fo ****.

Yea man honestly, I could see Floyd beating Cotto, but I think it'll be by just connecting more than Cotto. Floyd's best chance would be to counter Cotto coming in, but he never rushes in like that.

The reason I always said this fight would be intriguing is because of their styles. Cotto's got a way making you think he's coming in for a body shot and before you know it you got a straight right comin at you down the pipe. It's little subtle things he does that a lot of people overlook throughout the course of a fight. He's much smarter than people give him credit for.

But yea, I dont see Floyd KO'ing Cotto on counter punches. He'd have to come head on similar to Hatton, but he doesn't fight that way for Floyd to expose him in that fashion.
