Donaire is only 26 years old and has 22 fights under his belt. Consider this: a man's body keeps on growing until around age 25, so if he was having no problems making 112, why not do it? It should not be a surprise to see any young fighter milk a weight class for what they can get out of it, make the lowest weight possible without becoming weak, then move up when the body calls for it. It's only just become necessary for him to make the jump. When he does, you'll see an even better Nonito Donaire.

Hopkins made himself great by being a long-reigning Middleweight champion. I don't believe he was ever a natural Middleweight (this is something that Iceman John Scully agrees with, too). Bernard didn't move up to light heavy until his body called for it, instead he ruled the Middleweight division and had huge success there.

Calzaghe will be known as probably the best Super Middleweight of all time based on longevity and achievement at that weight. Though it's a relatively young division, it'll be hard for anyone to top what he did there for a long time.

Hatton claims to be too small for Welterweight yet massive at Junior Welterweight. Based on his ability to keep making 140, he's known as the king of the division.

Cotto comes into the ring as a middleweight, yet is able to make 147. He's known as the best in the 147lb division.

Clottey apparently has come into the ring closer to Light Heavyweight for a Welterweight fight!

See, this is common in boxing, and with Donaire being able to make 112, why the hell shouldn't he be a force there and rule the Flyweight division while he can?

Most of these guys got to where they were because they hold physical advantages over the nearest competition at the weight they are able to make. To achieve this, they are mostly very strict about how they live (except maybe Hatton, hehe), work extremely hard for a living, keep on winning, and ultimately deserve respect for being damn good at what is obviously a very difficult occupation. They are wise to play the game for what they can get out of it.

Donaire, Concepcion, Viloria and the rest of Team Philippines will be highly celebrated Champions. I believe that Donaire will be the next Filipino Superstar after the Pacman. JAT

                    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Props to Floyd, he's learning now how to finish a fight.

I pick Floyd to win the fight coz Hatton's arms is only 20" & only 5'6" short. Pac's 5'6 1/2" & 25" long from Armpit to fist. Pac is a Different animal than Hatton, He's faster, Punch straighter, Better head movement, quick footed. Watch Pac in any fight, he's not that hittable with the left hook. The opponent has to deal with Pac's Jab in order to be hit by a Left hook.
You haven't seen the welter Pac yet. You've only seen the 130 Pac with the Power of a middleweight.

Pac will be busy with JMM, Diaz & maybe DLH. PBF will take a Break, He'll not fight Cotto or any of the Bigger welter. hatton will Probably will be back at 140 fighting Witter or Torres. Pac might fight Hatton in England after DLH.
PBF will come out of retirement to fight Pac after all thoose Big fights.
