Hatton barely made top 10 p4p this year in the ring rankings. Thats even highly debatable due to the fact his promoter now owns the once revered ring magazine.

p4p top 10 for half a decade???? GTFO here brah!!!!!

Even boxingscene.com doenst have him in top 10 as do a lot of publications & boxing websites.

P4P is the mythical statement used to rank fighters if weight and classes were not an issue, correct?

Hattons has shown his dominance at 140 and 140 only, unsuccessful else where.

Pacquiao defines the phrase P4P by showing how effective he is from flyweight on up to 147. Dont get me wrong now im not saying he is dominant at 147 but for sure he can hold his ground at that weight, given that he still carries his arsenal.

I think if Pacquiao possessed the personality of Tyson during his, "Im gonna eat your children, and rip you a new a$$hol#" days then people would look at Pac a different way. Some people under estimate Pac cause he's some short little fighter, always carrying a smile, humble, and compassionate.

Hattons opponents at 147 were better than pacmans version of de la hoya. I would take both collazo and Mayweather to beat pacman at 147

Seriously though, P4P is just a phrase used to rank fighters if weight wasnt an issue. Judging from that list you can see that Hatton never made it to the top 3 which really matters the most and also how he gradually dropped down the rankings, while Pacquiao moved up quickly. This is just the Ring's version, ive seen versions where Hatton isnt even on the list while Pacquiao is listed atleast in the Top 3.

Of course they were, did you read the part where I wrote Pacquiao isnt dominate at 147 but he holds his ground (when I say holds his ground, I mean he can fight at that weight and be effective). Unlike Hatton who many thought lost to Collazo and for sure lost to Floyd. Tells you how good Hatton handles WW doesnt it?

Collazo, Pac takes it. Mayweather thats another discussion but I bet he performs better then Hatton FOR SURE.

Are you honestly trying to say that only the top 3 P4P boxers in the world are Elite?

Look Ring ranking are the industry standard, mainly because they are a consensus off all the major people in teh sport, if you are top 10 divisional or P4P in the ring rankings it's fair to say you deserve it.

Maybe we just have a different definition of elite.

I consider the top 10 fighters in a division to be world class, i.e athey are capable off and regularly fight at the world level.

I consider the top 20-30 boxers P4P to be elite boxers, they are the guy who regularly fight and beat world level guys and are the top of the boxing tree.

Again Pacquiao is elite while Hatton is just ok. THATS THE DIFFERENCE
Saying Warren is right is like saying that if someone calls "heads" often enough on a coin toss, then when it finally falls "heads" that proves he had a crystal ball. Warren always predicts Hatton will lose, no matter who the opponent is.

That's why he thought Urango, Lascano, and Malignaggi would all beat Hatton - very smart.
