Nah the way most Puerto Ricans see it is that Juanma and Tito are peoples people, and Cotto is just a great fighter that keeps to himself.

Cotto is a decent draw, he pulls in good numbers, but he lacks flair and charisma. He's got a warrior mentality through and through. I think he said in an interview awhile back, that when he punches someone and he hears the pain, he enjoys that. I mean the dude just wants to kill his opponents

Tito and JML, they got good smiles, open personalities to go along with their warrior mentality. Cotto is definitely a better fighter than both them two, he has more range, he just doesn't have a connection to the people with his personality.

The real sad thing is that Calderon will never be fully appreciated by others
