Scott Harrison Arrested Once Again, Assault Charges

It didn't take long for former champion Scott Harrison to get himself in another legal jam. Harrison was arrested as he arrived in Spain to face assault charges that are being alleged to have happened in 2006. Harrison, 31, was detained by officers from the country's National Police as he touched down at Malaga Airport on a flight from Glasgow. He is expected to stand trial in a Spanish court on assault and robbery charges. [details]

Ah, he's just been detained after that thing in Spain years ago. I thought he did something again. Hope he sorts everything out, he had some skills.
Did he have to sort this thing in Spain out to get his liscence back or what? If not why go back to Spain, just stay the f.uck out of the country.

He'll do time almost certainly, 4 cops are giving eye witness statements saying he assaulted a cop? He's fu.cked, which is why I was wandering why go back now to sort it out. Why go back to Spain at all? It must be something to do with getting his liscence back?

              what a waste isnt it?

he competed in a great era of featherweights... the big four, in-jin chi, joan guzman, soto...

it would have been nice to watch him against those fighters...

Yeah the British boxing board wouldnt re-license him unless he sorts out all his court case, He might be let off with a lighter sentence if he plead guilty and work out a compromise with the spanish lawmaker, But we have to wait and see.
