whats the most brutal send off into retirement???

i saw a thread that was asking about what was the best win heading into retirement?

well i want to know what was the most brutal loss that sent someone off into retirement??

two come to mind off hand real quick:

    1) augie sanchez ko loss to john michael johnson, that was brutal, feel bad for augie, he couldn't get a license after that loss.

    2) joe lipsey ko loss to hopkins, undefeated going in, never to fight again after that loss.

    who else????? anyone?

Joe Luis vs Rocky Marciano. Joe was really old, past his prime, broke, and literally fighting for money. It was sad and bad for the sport to see one of it's best Heavyweights going down like that. I thought that was sick.
