It ain't as good as it was a lil while ago. Pwill is gone, Marg is gone, whatever potential Cintron had is long gone, Berto still ain't quite elite, but he is on the cusp. SSM runs **** right now, but Cotto and Clottey are right behind him. Mr boat buyer didn't bless **** cuz he didn't fight anybody fans wanted him too. What can Mayweather do when he offered Mosley fight twice before??? He had a family vacation then a dentist appointment. Margarito is one dimensional boxer who was schooled by Williams and has question mark over his whole career.

Why do people assume that the Welterweight division is stack full of talent??? I really don’t see any talent fighters except Williams and Cotto.
Let me start off with the east target first, Joshua “Best win shot Judah”

Clottey. Why do people call him a top WW?? PBF beat the better version of Judah more convincingly. His is very one dimensional yet is called a top WW, WHY. People brag on how is the HW division is weak, I don’t see the difference between him and Ibragimov. Ibragimov best win was Holyfield at the time. Clottey best win is a **** version of Judah yet people belittle Wladimir beating him. Calling the HW weak. Clottey is the same Peter IMO

Margarito. The only reason people think he is good is simply because he offered Floyd a fight. That;s it. What does Margarito have that adds to the WW division? He is a limited fighter who has been exposed as a fraud coward and a disgrace. He lost to Williams in a lopsided fight, he barely beat Clottey and has a questionable win over Cotto. This man as accumulated 6 losses yet they call a top fighter.

Berto. Heavily overrated as these species known as top WW. Good win over Forbes and Collazo that’s it. Hatton has a better performance over Collazo moving up for Jr WW. You could argue that Berto has beaten better fighters than Clottey.

Sugar Shame Mosley, undoubtedly the most overhyped boxer of our era. Two decent wins his whole career, Oscar at 147 and Margarito. He is aged 38 now and a former drug cheat, beating him wouldn’t do much for your legacy now. People think Mosley does something for the WW division adding talent. Hopkins fights at 175, is the LHW stack full as the WW divison

The WW is not loaded as people make it out to be. The only reason they do that is to belittle Floyd. If Floyd never fought at WW, this division would be the same as SMW/JR MW and LHW right now. The difference is Mayweather has fought at that division.
