I feel you but dont you think if he really really wanted to fight Floyd he would just come out and say it? It might not be his style but if your promoters wont get you a fight with him it then means that Cotto has to do something. It sounds more to me like his fans want a fight with Floyd more than Cotto does

Cotto has commented on it just not in the ring right after fights. He has said that he can't make Floyd fight him if he doesn't want to. He also said that Floyd is always running from him and makes excuses as to why he shouldn't fight him and that if he doesn't want to fight he can go do something else. Yes, ideally a fight with Mayweather would be great for boxing and great for their bank accounts. But fighting Floyd isn't the end all be all for Cotto. He's a boxer, he just wants to fight whoever they put in front of him and provide for his family. What would Cotto sound like if everytime they put a microphone in front of him he went off on a rant about Mayweather and him ducking him or being scared to fight him?
