Erik Morales Hopes To Fight Juan Manuel Marquez Next

I like Morales but i don't wanna see him again against top opposition. Morales got annihilated by Pacquiao, i've never seen such a beating before. If he comes back he should fight easier competition, like RJJ against Sheika.
Marquez shouldn't take this fight against a shot as hell Morales. He has hotter fishs to fry: Pacquiao, Hatton, Mayweather, Campbell, etc...
If this happens, i bet Morales doesn't survive the first 5 rounds.

Morales is without a doubt one of my favorite fighters, but its too late for this fight to happen.. Morales is out of shape and has taken a lot of damage throughout his career although he only had a few losses to top fighters (minus David Diaz which he shouldve won).. i read once that he has a ringing sensation in his ear when he first retired. but Marquez would take this easily because morales is shot and marquez is in his prime right now...

Morales ain't shot.he ain't old as well. he can still perform against top calibre opponents. first order of business is to have a tune-up fight before taking jmm. valero,j. diaz, d. diaz, and even casa would be a nice comeback fight for him.

Wrong weight class, I doubt he's getting down to 135 and if he does, his tune up should be against a much lower tiered fighter. At best, someone like Kid Diamond, then we can find out that he's not coming back from 4 straight losses, 2 by KO and 2 years off.

Morales is pretty much shot and doesnt really deserve a fight with Marquez, considering how past prime he is and how long hes been out of the game.

but Id be lying if I said I wasnt interested seeing the fight, even at this point in Morales' career.

although there really are better people out there for Marquez to fight.

But Morales need to be dedicated to boxing~
He should be hungry for glory and not just fight for the money!

Though, I think Marquez will beat Morales at this point!
