The Best of Butterbean is on ESPN Classic

Good Lord that Best of Butterbean was actually long as PHUCK! Everyone makes the "Oh is it 3 minutes?" joke, but NO IT'S LIKE A 3 PART SERIES! I keep deleting that crap off my DVR, and it keeps finding its way back on there. I lost some good fights cause my DVR had to find space for that god awful series... So uhh, being that I never watched it... is it actually good? I seen like 10 of his fights, the WWF stunts, the Larry Holmes fight (If I remember right Larry went down in the 12th but won a fairly clear and easy decision), and some awful espn fights. He hits hard but... it's freakin butterbean man.

Or was the Holmes fight even a 12 rounder. I just remember thinking this is an awful circus event Butterbean shouldn't be in the same ring as Holmes, but at the same time I was praying he stayed away from that fat ass monster.

yea he was like a side show act...i dont remember if the holmes fight was 12 rounds i know he schooled butterbean....and YES!!! its like a 3 part series....

It was a 10 rounder and Bean got credited with a knockdown on a slip in the 10th round and Holmes got pissed off after screwing around for 9.5 rounds and started teeing off.

He came to Australia about 3 years ago and fought a guy call 'Bad' Baden Oui, some Islander bum with a record of 7-4-2 or something, he was supposed to fight Big Bob.


For the record Oui won a decision.
