Going by names on a resume alone, De La Hoya has one of the greatest in boxing history by far. If you actually watch the fights, he didnt do so bad, either.
Pacquiao will ultimately be remember as a better fighter, but De La Hoya fought everyone from Chavez and Whitaker to Hopkins and Mayweather. Few guys come close, really.

I'd make a case for the Trinidad fight because I think he did win that fight but nonetheless it's a done deal. Judges thought otherwise. The Vargas fight was a big win for De La Hoya in my opinion.

So if PAC and that chicken **** were football teams, it would be Chicken **** arguably having a tougher schedule, but it was PAC who got to the big dance and winning again and again.

I see - PAC would be like the Patriots w/ 3 Super Bowl rings

Chicken **** would play the role of the Buffalo Bills w/ 4 Super Bowl losses.

I'll take those 3 Super Bowl rings everytime, baby!

Let me ask y'all this, which one would you like to be remembered by Winning in the biggest fights or losing in 'em?

Chavez and Whitaker are bigger names than anybody that Pacquiao has fought. That is why Oscar De La Hoya is the the most impressive person on Pacquiao's resume.
