Your right we he in Britain have produced an abundance of good fighters over the years. Unfortunately though McGuigan cannot be included into the list as he is from the Republic of Ireland..
You say British fighters suck. You do reazlize Jimmy Wilde, Ted ''Kid'' Lewis, Bob Fitzsommons, John Conteh, Lloyd Honeyghan, Barry McGuigan, Ken Buchanan, Ricky Hatton, Joe Calzaghe, Nigel Benn, and Chris Eubank are all British. And there are plenty more great fighters who have come out of Britian. All the names I have listed were either Great Fighters, Hall Of Famers, or All Time Greats.Comment

But you probaly don't know most of them due to your lack of Boxing Knowlodge. And I'am sure some of the british posters who post here will agree with me.Comment

Well actually every time I have looked at ATG British lists he always been there. And you must be forgetting the fact that he was Britsh Featherweight Champion. He is treated as being British and therefore be remembered as a British fighter
I think you slipped up here and made mistake, and you may need to go and learn about your native Britian..........

OK fair enough but due to the fact that he was born a raised in Ireland and represented them in the 1980 olympics I wouldn't describe him has coming out of Britain more as representing. Lennox Lewis should also be included into the list as well then.Well actually every time I have looked at ATG British lists he always been there. Worth remembering that Benn-McClellan had happened a week before IIRC (I watched both fights live on TV at the time), and Warren really didn't need another tragic outcome at one of his events after all the negative attention that came with the G-Man aftermath.Comment
