it still boggles my mind to read "5'11 122 pounds"

I've seen Caballero 2 or 3 times. Looked impressive each time. With that said he's a fuckin bean pole and I just get the feeling a hard shot from gamboa will send him to the canvas.

Going with Gamboa in the upset.

if i had pts to bet id put it all in on gamboa for this!
ya gamboa still has an excellent chance ... but i dunno ... he saving grace maybe his speed and ability to land a lotta quick hard punches on the inside ... caballero has proven even though he doesnt really fight like a tall fighter that he can be beat on the inside. he needs the distance to get leverage on his shots to make them mean something. its getting in there that will be the hard part for gamboa ... i think celestino will be the stalker and puncher in this one and it will be interesting to see how gamboa reacts to that ... this is a significant step up and if its made is gonna be really interesting to watch ...

Caballero would move up in weight to challenge Gamboa for his title, but first he needs to win his fight on April 30 against Jeffrey Mathebula in Panama. [details]
You see, it's **** like this that pisses me the *** off!!!!!!

How the *** can this Gamboa get a crack at the WBA belt and Juanma not only has a better record but has better chance at beating that skinny bastard Celestino? Everybody wants to see that fight after Celestino called Juanma and Puerto Rico to challenge? Quote:Put your flag up and we'll put up ours.

it aint gonna be at 122 its gonna be at 126 for gamboas interim title ... celestions moving up in weight for this one ...

if top rank really wanted the fight i;m sure caballero would want it cause it would prob be his biggest payday, besides fightin marquez or vazquez ...

celestino called gamboa out and i think he has more of a chance to beat gamboa than juanma or he would stay at 122 to unify. or maybe its gettig hrader for hi to make weight

I'm pretty sure I read Caballero will likely be the favorite since he's a champ and all and beaten better opposition than Gamboa. So yeah, it would be a bit of an upset.

I got Gamboa winning, don't get me wrong

his already unified ... hes defending in a couple weeks against an ibf mandatory and hes the wba 'super' champ at 122 ... so unless he doesnt make weight for the up coming bout so far so good on weight issues ...

actually he did same day weight ins for the molitor fight ...
