    Is Ronald Hearns Any Good?

I've never seen him box but his record looks good apart from his last fight! He won his first 21 fights (17 KO) but got knocked out by Harry Joe Yorgey in 9 in his last fight. To anyone that has seen him fight is he good?

No. Take away the famous last name, and he's another club fighter who never turns a head. DiBella's only interest in him was efforts to pimp out his name a bit.

Nothing special, but he does have a solid record for someone that (I believe) didn't have any amateur experience.

Not as good as his father, but sadly for him he's just as chinny as his father.

I only saw the end of one of his fights on an undercard a couple of years back and he got a good KO but can't remember who he was fighting but I've never seen one of his full fights! His record looked good but don't know if he has fought anyone decent yet!

How old is he 30 something? Wasted potential maybe but I don't see him getting any better than he is right now.

He would probably have been a better boxer if his dad wasn't such a legend, because of his dad's name his growth could have been stunted.

Like if I was fighting a grandchild of Sugar Ray Robinson, I would go into win the match more than I usually would.

He is no Thomas Hearns. Too bad he was not named Thomas Hearns Jr because then we could just add him to the list of Jr's who are not anywhere near as good as their fathers.

                    Chavez Jr.
                    Paez Jr.
                    Camacho Jr.
