Arum: "(Expletive) Mayweather. Pacquiao's the big attraction"

Bob Arum: Floyd Mayweather must come to us
by Brian VanOchten | The Grand Rapids Press

"(Expletive) Mayweather. Pacquiao's the big attraction. He has to come to us if he wants it," Arum told a group of reporters, according to *************.com. "If he doesn't come to us, there's dozens of other guys we can fight."

Pacquiao (48-3-2) first must dispense of slugger Ricky Hatton (43-1) on May 2 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

If that happens, there'll be pressure to put together a pay-per-view blockbuster featuring the current No. 1 pound-for-pound champ in the sport, Pacquiao, with the former pound-for-pound king, Mayweather, who is rumored to be training for a return to the ring.

The undefeated Mayweather (39-0) has been retired since June 2007, but increased his public profile with an AT&T laptop connect card television commercial this month.

The relationship between Arum and Mayweather is another potential stumbling block.

Mayweather has stated numerous times he'd never do business with Arum again. To which Arum replied in the *************.com report: "But he could go (expletive) himself. Tell him that."

If a Mayweather-Pacquiao bout could be negotiated, it appears Arum plans to dictate the terms of the matchup.

"I haven't talked to Manny about it because we're concentrating on Hatton, because Hatton is a tough fight," Arum told reporters this week. "The question with a Mayweather fight is at what weight? That's the big question. At 140, I don't think there's any problem making that fight.

"If Floyd wants to come in at a higher weight, I don't know. A catch-weight is a possibility also," he added. "But none of that has been discussed and I won't let anyone discuss it, Until after this fight.

Too much bad blood in the past will prevent this fight to happen. Too bad for boxing when these guys are comparing **** sizes.

Arum wont dicatate nothing, like he didnt dictate nothing in the DLH-Pac match.

      Pac dealt with negotiations himself.

I hope Mayweather doesn't let his pride get in the way of this. I don't even know who I would want to win honestly. Just give the fans this one gift please. This is exactly what boxing needs right now.

(Expletive) Arum is what I say. I do like Pacquiao more than Mayweather though.

money talks, and when money talks, bull****ters shut the **** up.if the money is right, they'll make it happen.arum's talking out his ass, as usual.he won't put cotto in with pac.
freddie roach doesn't want cotto fighting pac.he wants to train cotto.not to say anybody is scared, but it doesn't make much sense to them.the only way a fight like this happens, is when they're both at the end of the road, and the handlers are trying to cash out.
therefore a pac may fight will happen because is the biggest boxing can offer.
