having a speed advantage doesn't matter, if you fight your opponent's fight and duke it out, instead of using your speed and boxing ability to win the fight. ask cotto.

      Speed doesn't win fights.

      Tyson was faster than Holyfield
      Judah was faster than Kostya
      Cotto was faster than Margarito
Morales was slower (and washedup, lol) than Pacquiao but still won easily.

Besides, Pacquiao doesn't have one punch hand speed. He has to throw a flurry and he appears fast in his short combination's. Like a fan, he starts up slow, but once it's going it's fast. By the time Pac throws his 2nd and 3rd punch, he's already tied up in a clinch. (Hopkins over Calzaghe)

The kind of speed that could trouble Hatton would be someone like Judah, who has a tight guard and can deliver a one-punch bullet straight down Hatton's guard when he comes in. Judah has the best, strongest, left hand counter in boxing. You can't expect to get Hatton's respect with any flurries. You need to shoot laser guided shots down his pipe with some power on them and totally surprise him.
