IMO, This will be a good fight. Alot of you don't give Gerry his props but he does deserve it. In my eyes Gerrys only real problem is he is sometimes gun shy and that is what cost him the fight with Ponce and could have cost him against Johnny if he didn't hit one of the most beautifully timed body shots I've ever seen. Johnny may have been weak from making weight but he probably would have gone down anyway even if he was strong. For you numbskulls that think it was a lucky punch go watch it again, it truly is a thing of beauty. Oh, and when you do go back and watch it reel it back a bit and you will notice Gerry set it up. Juanma is a machine but as much as I love knockouts, I would like to see a fight go further than 1 round. Being a Pinoy I would like to see Gerry win this one but that aint gonna happen if he holds back and waits. I don't think Juanma is taking Gerry lightly and wont give him to many opportunities. I would like to think Gerry has had a good training camp and the added attention he has received from Roach will pay off and we will see his hands fly more often. Juanma has a great chance to win this being so strong but even if he doesn't, this will be a fight that will make him a great champion. If he does win, we will see how great a champion he will be by his performance against an experienced, skillful fighter.
