It is a bad thing.Where you were born and to whom you were born is merely an accident. Something that should not define you. Everyone on this planet is a member of the same race, we simply look different in ways. That's all there is to it.
To only or mainly root for certain fighters because of where they come from, is the sign of a weak-minded person, unable to simply appreciate the quality and only focus on the location of a fighter.Comment

While, I appreciate your gesture of agreeing to disagree, I have a question for you.
Who do you see getting stopped first....
Fighter A: Agggressive, strong. Lightning fast. Combination puncher with great stamina. Looks for the knock out at times. Swings with his chin up in the air and gets dropped pretty much every other fight since his 10th. Chin can be cracked, a couple of times a fight and has shown a lack of defense at times.
Fighter B: Skilled, slick boxer. Solid left hook, but generally more of a speed than power guy. Good combinations. Never really goes down, isn't rocked much and has lost PERHAPS 5 rounds since his demolition of p4p 9 rated Vic Darchinyan.
Not trying to egg you on, just asking.
And yes, Gamboa/Lopez would be crazy.Comment

I don't know what your post proved, if anything.
Nonetheless, what are you so proud of? You didn't do anything? You didn't accomplish being born Filipino. It just happened. We are all racial happenstances. Mistakes. Nothing more, nothing less. Pride is for accomplishments.
If you made it thru tough times, struggled to do it. Be proud. Don't just say, 'I'm proud to be Black or Mexican' or whatever. It's nothing to be ashamed up, be happy about it. But, pride is for accomplishments. Goals achieved.
Root for ywho you want, but if you wouldn't be here without Manny Pacquiao didn't exist, you're not a real boxing fan to begin with.Comment
