An Open Letter to Chad Dawson from Tavoris Cloud

    By Tavoris Cloud:

"To Chad Dawson: I just can’t be silent any longer. As you well know, if you win your rematch with Antonio Tarver on May 9th, I’m still your IBF mandatory.

After months of waiting, I’m asking you publicly, to act like a champion and give me my shot. Give the fans what they want - an exciting light heavyweight championship bout between two young, hungry fighters.

This second bout with Tarver, who, by the way, has beaten better fighters than you in rematches, is the most unanticipated championship fight of the year. I promise you, and the fans, Dawson vs. Cloud will be something fight fans won’t want to miss and won’t ever forget.

It’s time to pick on someone your own age.

    I’m next."

It'd be nice if he fought again. Go fight Clinton Woods Cloud.

I remember the Open Letter from Cosme Rivera to Zab Judah.

Upon reading it it got me all hyped up (I hate Judah). Anyway that didnt turn out well.

Glen Johnson? You can argue Tarver beat Johnson a lot more convincingly then Dawson did

When he was a few years younger he may have been. Don't forget, he's age 40.

I think he is, atleast defensively. Johnson has had a longer impressive career, so that is why I give the nod to him as of now.
