    P4p#1 vs p4p#2?

    sorry if this has been posted before, but has there ever been a fight before between the top two ranked pound for pound fighters, i.e floyd vs pac if it ever happens

    Julio Cesar Chavez #1 vs Pernell Whitaker #2. Whitaker was at 147, Chavez moved up from 140.

    doesnt get any better than that.

      Mayweather vs. Pacquiao would be the best fight in boxing history significance wise, if that's what you're getting at. One of the best offensive fighters ever vs. one of the best defensive fighters ever, #1 vs. #2. You'd never live to see a bigger, more important fight. It might not be close (I honestly think Floyd wins fairly easily), but significance wise, it won't get bigger.

        i think floyd would have alot of problems and get hit alot more than hes used to

                he was the #1 for about 4 years. from the time Tyson lost to Douglas to the Whitaker 'Draw'. then Whitaker got bumped up to #1.
