Anorak!, I'm guessing you haven't been to the great country.

That isn't just a sport, it's a way of life!

im a fan of both, but the one thing about boxing is that i know i'll see some boxing. Im a fan of knockouts, so there's no argument that the UFC doesn't provide a good show, but i don't and never will enjoy watching two men wrestle. Joe Rogan cracks me up though because everytime two guys lay on eachother (mainly from exhaustion) he almost seems to be making **** up about what either fighter is trying to do (when clearly they are both exhausted). oh he's going for the scorpion! whatever Joe. Ref please stand these men up. thank you.

and unfortunately this happens quite often in mma. it's the reason why you have to pack 8 or more fights on everycard.

ring entrances in boxing can be pumped up a bit more, but for the most part the fights themselves bring the real drama.

MMA seems to depend on WWE antics to sell to the audience. the pre-fight hype is always a bit questionable, where as in boxing, 98% of the fighters have a life-long affiliation with the sport, which makes watching their pre-fight documentaries more compelling.

the most exciting part of mma is the striking, the boxing/kicking

just cut out the middle man, watch boxing
