Floyd's star seriously probably is'nt much brighter that Marquez's. Marquez actually has respect from true boxing fans. Floyds been inactive and he needs to fight someone with a name or he'll actually look like the ***** he is. He needs Marquez more than Marquez needs him. Marquez is coming off 2 amazing wins that actually mean something for his legacy. Floyds coming off 2 hand picked wins from 2 years ago. I don't know if you understand this but nobody is really going crazy over Floyd's return. Why d you think that is?

floyd would fight him at 140, but he feels he's the bigger star, so he shouldn't have to bend to marquez's demands.....that's the way i see it, but i know a few other ppl would look at it as floyd being "scared."

problem is, that wasn't a "duck" b/c arum offered floyd 8 MILLION for that fight, and floyd ended up fighting baldomir for 10 MILLION!!!!

I dont have a problem with him fighting Marquez. I have a problem with him trying to drag them up there under the false pretense he wants to fight them at 147, because he is a 147 pounder. Yet he wont fight A 147 pounder so it kinda gives you the impression he just trying to seek an advantage over Pac or Marquez and give himself a better opportunity to win both fights. Not so long ago he was dragging Hatton up there.


Floyd is not a natural WW, but he is bigger than JMM and Pac. It will effect them more as they go up that it will Floyd, because allthough Floyd is not a natural WW he is bigger than both those guys.
