Floyd has good pop at WW.

I'd say slightly above average. Enough to get other WW's respect.

He just doesn't fight that way at WW because everyone is bigger than him, so people who don't know what they're talking about get this notion that he can't punch.

Hatton was cold knocked out when his head hit the ring post; he did manage to get up. But the damage was done. Floyd nearly dropped Hatton with single straight lead right hands

Forrest is a big puncher; much more so than Floyd. And, the head-butt before the knockdown was the reason Mosley's equilibrium wasn't the same in the Forrest I fight.

              Mosley's chin is granite.

Might aswell say Mayweather could knock Margarito out, because Shane did it.

Shane is a different animal. Floyd wouldn't stand his ground against Margarito like Shane did. He would pot-shot and run and make things boring.

That massive body-blow early in the fight is what did Margarito in.

yeah you are right just like floyd is a different animal as well. both have their own style in the ring. i dont get why if people think floyd fights so boring why watch him fight? haha personally i like the way he boxes... accurate with his punches and making professional fighters look like rookies with his defense.

Because people want to see Floyd lose his "O."

Shane is about trying to tear a fighter down and getting that KO if he can where Floyd is more of a thinker and fights with caution (most of the time).
Floyd's way is to win without risking to many points on your health...which in the long run will be good for his brain.

I actually think Floyd's been fighting boring since the move up to 147. The Mitchell and Judah fight were just OK, but Floyd made them OK fights when he could have done a lot more with his ability...but he chose not to. That’s what pisses people off besides his build-up with words of what he will do to the opponent but doesn’t follow through.
I'm just more used to seeing how Floyd fought from 130-140. You can still admire it for the tactics and style, but most, including me, would rather see him fight from the start and throw more punches.
I've said this before; he reminds me of a mix between Hopkins in his mid-late 30's, and Jones Jr. in his 30's. Mayweather, like Hopkins (later in his career), starts fights from near the mid-point instead of trying to win every round like they used to. Watch Hopkins prior to Tito. And like Jones Jr, Floyd pot-shots a lot now and prefers the lead-right more than the jab…and doesn’t move around nearly as much while throwing sick combos.

Floyd's playing a dangerous game the way he is fighting now. Like Hopkins against Taylor, he risks losing to many rounds and putting it in the hands of the judges that may score rounds for the opponent just because fo the dull action. Floyd needs to start to fight from round 1 like he used to...and getting back to using the jab, combos, and moving around more often. Or at least if he stands in the pocket, counter more often.

If his hands hurt to much, back hurts, shoulder problems, to much weight now and his legs aren't the same young legs he had....whatever it is...I would suggest really looking at what you/he is doing and if he can't be at his best, maybe stick with retirement if he wants to keep that "O" in place.
