de leon was just all hype.nothing special about him. he throws a punch first before he thinks.penalosa is different from all the fighters that juanma fought. he's a thinking boxer first and can brawl if he thinks he has the edge over his opponent.

no use arguing with you if you didn't see the deleon vs. penalosa fight first.de leon's punches were either blocked by penalosa or hitting nothing but air in that fight. juanma just got lucky to caught de leon with his solid right hook when the two fought.

i wouldnt call it luck, he got whoooooped!!!!! as for the dleon vs gerry fight it was a great. gerry's problem is the lack of power

I love it When the Underdog Pulls an Upset. Even better when its by KO. But i do not think Penalosa will be able to pull this one out. Very tough matchup for him but at least we Finally get to see what Juanma is made of. Gerry may not be able to get i fair decision if he were to make it the distance. And Im not sure if he has the Punching Power to hurt Juanma, but he will fight for 12rounds. Juanma is going to have to show some serious Boxing skills if he wants his impressive KO streak,9 in a row, last three in the 1st round to continue. I think an all out assault against Penalosa early in the fight will be just wasted punches even if he lands a few and give Penalosa a feel . So i imagine we may actually get to see Lopez show his skills against a Quality opponent even if Penalosa is 3 days away from 40. I got Lopez in this one but Penalosa should make this a very good fight
