He is a product of Canadian boxing though, not British.

He's English, the fact he didn't move to Canada until the age of 12 swings it for me. At school in Canada he would've been known as the British kid and he would've felt that way too.

Why the fascination wit this? I thought he always repped the British flag in his fights.

Some trolls decided to wind up some of the more sensitive weak minded British fans on this forum by saying he was Canadian (because well, his boxing pedigree IS from Canada) but saying that meant he was repping Canadian boxing.

This somehow morphed into them being accused of trying to say he IS Canadian (and then I assume in troll jest, them actually saying that).

For some reason some of the more sensitive dorks on this form haven't gotten over this.
