Yes, but JuanMa should have improved by leaps, as well. I think fundamentally, Juan Ma has less bad habits than Gamboa. He fights with more control and patience. I think Gamboa will try to impress and get careless. If JuanMa gets by Gerry, 2010 will be a big year for Juan Ma and I'm sorry to say, but he just might KO Gamboa if they fight in 2010.

if he gamboa gets caught then damn.. juanma is the beter fighter.. but i dont think he will.. and juanma will get by gerry.... this dood has slow ass reflexes man... and thats what you need in a fight with juanma blocking his punches wont do you any good his fists go through blocks

Big, big mismatch. Lopez by early to mid KO. The style that Gamboa has is just made for a skillful counter puncher with one punch power the way Lopez has, on top of having the southpaw advantage. Also, the quality of opposition has to go to Lopez as well as Gamboa is untested against the elite.

I think Gamboa does get to excited and starts brawling. Juanma fights patiently and haves better boxing skills imo. Juanma haves good power on both of his hands. I think that Juanma would KO Gamboa like by the 7th or 8th round.
