He was used by Eddie Futch, a hall of fame trainer from Michigan, as an experimental punching bag for some of his theory on Boxing, in the ring. Eddie felt sorry for him so he taught him a few things about Boxing which later allowed Freddie himself to open up a gym after struggling with his day job as a telemarketer.
