but since you made the thread already allow me to dispell a couple things:

margarito was not ducked. Arum fraudulently offered floyd 8 mill (arum lied, he didn't have 8 mill to pay floyd to fight an unknown bum in margarito, this wasn't first time arum lied to add leverage). Margarito had 1 belt at this time, floyd had 1 belt. Floyd got 10 million to fight baldomir AND TWO BELTS. Tell me how this is duckign when floyd got a career high payday to fight baldo AND more belts than margarito on top of more money than margarito. taht's not ducking.

2ndly floyd called out cotto and mosley and they both ducked him. Arum said and I quote: "Cotto needs another 12 months before he is ready for mayweather"

look it up there's an article somewhere here from a couple years ago on boxingscene that quotes arum as saying this.

Fact: Mosley/Cotto both turned down Mayweather fights when he called them out
Fact: Mosley/Cotto therefore DUCKED MAYWEATHER
Fact: Mayweather got more money AND more belts by fighting baldomir instead of margarito

people wanted to see floyd whoop sharmba and baldo.

Baldomir was the #1 WW at the time and he was also the Lineal Champ at the time, if i'm not mistaken.
