Russian heavyweight Alexander Povetkin has pulled out of the fight against Ukrainian Alexander Dimitrenko with the vacant EBU title at stake. The deadline for pursebids or agreement was tomorrow - according to Sauerland Eventīs CEO the decision to pull Povetkin out was because they didnīt have any TV date before August 29. Povetkin keeps pulling out of his biggest fights. I actually like the sound of Dimitrenko - Rogan.

Rogan is a tough bastard, who has beaten some good Brit Heavyweights in Harrison and Skelton. Dimitrenko would have his hands full.

            Arslan was injured in training.

I'd like to see Vitali Rusal's defeat Marco Huck, I believe there's a chance of an upset. This is Vitali's chance to become a top cruiserweight contender.

Povetkin never intended to fight Dimitrenko. The article is mistaken, he's not "pulling out" because he's never even discussed the fight. Povetkin is the IBF's mandatory for Wlad.

If he managed to win... Why should they risk? They have a mandatory challenger status, and if Povetkin loses he will be where he was couple of years ago... Right now he at least has a chance...

P.S. I`m Ukrainian and i don`t like Dmitrenko much... I remember him fighting Krasniqi... damn.... Luan was better in every single aspect, until he was caught by that punch...

Dmitrenko is very huge, but he can`t fight tall... He has more holes (in his defence), than Swiss cheese has... He needs to improve a lot...

I hope Dimitrenko knows how to hold on, because its gonna be a bumpy ride with Rogan. Mofo just keeps coming and he is physical.
