I think the idea is, after Roach is ready to leave, Moorer will take over. Roach seems to be declining in his health and I can't see him training for too much longer.

That being said, the arrangement of having Roach and Moorer would scare me a bit if I was a Pacquiao fan. Moorer and Roach don't seem to be the same type trainers.

Nah, he seems real genuine, they are friends, moorer and roach BOTH realize the situation, they BOTH know freddie cant go all day long in that gym... freddie trusts moorer and vice versa... it may seem that way, but they both know they need each other... so it is what it is

I think Roach knows that eventually Parkinson's will restrict how much time he can spend down the gym training his fighters, and he wants to keep a steady income when/if that happens..........so he is taking on an extra hand incase he does have to leave the gym in someone else's hands at some point.
