Firstly, the game you referred to in your earlier post is football, not soccer.

Also, you don’t quite understand English people. The fans sang when Ricky had been KO'ed because they love him. To pick him up, to show that despite the loss, he is still number one in the fans eyes.

It’s called loyalty and respect.

You won’t understand that, and refer to it as 'drunken idiots' etc.

Hatton fans continued to cheer, because they had just had fools made out of them. They were very loud and vocal before hand and disgraced themselves by booing the national anthem. They continued to sing afterwards because they did not want to reflect on what just happened(The boy they back just got destroyed)
