The amount of money it could generate might be too much for either boxer to refuse.
it would be absolutely huge, if it was shown on normal tv it might even be bigger than benn vs eubank.

Hatton's pride wont let him take the fight.Upsets happen in boxing and Hatton knows there is a chance he would lose.Khan is good and a box office fighter in the UK already but still Hatton has many options. He has already mentioned 3 more fights and out. Those 3 fights do not include Khan unfortunately.

Hatton's legacy is everything. He doesnt mind losing to a P4P fighter but at the moment Khan isnt one.

According to Roach, Pacman KO'd 4 sparring partners during training.

Surprisingly, Roach also stated that if Khan beats Kotelnik and Pacquiao beats Hatton, it would be a real possibilty that Hatton would want to fight Khan in the UK for his newly-acquired JWW belt! Being from the same country, Hatton might view Khan as perhaps the most logical route to recapturing a belt in the division.

don't be silly. what would hatton get out of fighting khan apart from a pay check, which he could get against any other fighter anyway. IMO, Khan does not and never will pose a challenge to HAtton. Khan needs to beat this guy and step in with one of the top 10.

        Hatton will beat Pacman anyway.

hatton will beat pacman anyway - i think when pacman tastes a 140lbfighters power he will know that hes made a mistake.

if hatton loses i can see him taking on urango, judah or torres but i dont see him taking on khan.

why because i dont think warren or khan want any part of hatton, they know one clean punch and its all over besides khan and hatton are good friends as well. OTOH the money might just be too much to refuse but like i sid i dont think hatton is going to lose and even if he does i dont think the fight with kahn will happen

What an absolute arse. Whatever Roach's views are on boxing, and the Pacquiao/Hatton fight, he is a decent guy and puts in an incrediable amount of work despite having Pakinsons.

I can only see Hatton fighting Khan as a last resort.

It's true, the guy who pulled this stunt against Roach is clearly out for a pay check. Roach didn't sound too bothered, he said something like he just needs to be a little more careful because he's in the public eye.

I think it's a little more than the pay check because if Pacman wins, Hatton would no longer have the IBO or Ring belts. Hatton might want to challenge for the WBA Belt against either Kotelnik or Khan, whoever wins.

if hatton loses to pac i think hatton takes a long vacation then returns against jmm (who should lose to floyd).

fighting khan in manchester is a no brainer, but hatton may skip on it because he doesn't want to lose to a lower caliber fighter... I mean its better to lose to p4p #1's and #2 than lose to a chinny 140 lbs titlist
