People Act Like JMM Wasnt Going To 140?

This isnt the case of Oscar basicaly seeking out Pac for a fight. JMM called out Floyd and is still doing it. Even moreso, JMM was going to 140 anyways. This is the thing that everyone is overlooking because they hate Floyd so much. They act like JMM was a content LW that wouldve stayed there for the rest of his career but Floyd is trying to drag him out to pick on the little guy. If Floyd was no where in the picture, JMM would still be going to 140 to fight Pac, Campbell, Bradley or whoever. Stop acting like thats not the case. This fight would look totally different if JMM had fought Campbell or Pac at 140 1st and then wanted to fight Floyd. No one in boxing would be asking Floyd to come down in weight in that case. They would say that youre calling Floyd out and you want the fight so go to the Champ. At worst you have to come up to 144-145.

It wouldnt even be a big deal in that case. No one would be talking about it or making a big deal about it. It would just seem like 2 of the best guys meeting eachother for a big fight. Now just because JMM didnt have a fight at 140 1st makes it look bad in everyone's eyes. Most of the media that Ive seen have been hyped about this fight. Even the Floyd haters in the media think that this is a good fight and that JMM can give him trouble. No one is trying to play him like a little guy except the fans on here that just hate Floyd. Even when a writer does say something about the size advantage, they just talk about it in a normal sense. They will say something like it will be a great fight but Floyd's size advantage and skill will probably be too much for him but you cant count JMM out. No one is really freaking out except the people on here. It makes no sense. If Floyd was still retired, JMM would still be fighting the big names at 140 in his next fight anyways. Stop making it sound like he's a Bantam Weight who's making this huge jump to fight a monster. They weigh basicaly the same thing on fight night.

Its the same with Pac. If Floyd had fought at WW and then Pac kills Hatton, everyone would be hyped about a Pac-Floyd matchup at WW or a catch weight of 145. Now JMM cant do it when alot of people already think he beat Pac twice? I dont get it. He just knocked out a huge LW in Diaz and he looked bigger then Diaz. Why isnt there this big deal made about the thought of Floyd fighting guys like Cotto, Williams, Clottey, and Margarito when they come in the ring at 162-170 for every fight and Floyd is at 148? Seriously, I havent heard 1 guy talk about that yet. Thats not a big deal to you? You honestly think thats fair but these fights arent? Its not even fantasy, its fact. The HBO scales show Floyd at 148 in the ring and the other guys have been shown at 162, 165, and 170 but no one cares. Then he has to pot shot to beat them and he gets ripped for that. I dont get it
