i think what he's saying is p4p if mab/morales/hatton all had the same body/weight, i.e. he's trying to say they are obviously much more skilled than hatton etc.

but p4p notwithstanding, if we take into account their true respective natural weights, they would never stand a chance because a much bigger 140lbs hatton would bulldoze them both and KTFO them brutally

yeah generally this is what happens...

      but not all the time...

there have been great scalers in the past...

ODLH started @ 130 but KOed mayorga who was a natural 154er...

duran was a natural lightweight but just annihilated davey moore...

can u remember the mighty atom? he was a flyweight who regularly fought fighters as high as lightweights & KOed most of them...

but in this particular case though, barrera im afraid will get beaten unless he boxes beautifully like he did against brother naseem & rocky juarez the 2nd time around...

Luckily we don't live in a fantasy world. Only Hatton haters use the 'If we were same size, P4P i would beat you' Bollox.

Hatton bests both at 140. Fess up.

what i'm saying is that's the definition of what p4p means. just like saying p4p sugar ray robinson would own wlad klitschko. that's equivalent to saying if they are both same size i.e. if robinson was 6'5 230lbs or something. but everyone knows in their real sizes if they fought klitschko would ktfo him in 1 punch.

so p4p barrera/morales probably own hatton. at 140 hatton takes them out 2 on 1 and still has room for dessert.

it is relevant when discussing overall skill for comparisons and/or compiling top p4p ATG lists. Just because Hatton can crush Morales/Barrera at any point of their respective careers due to his size doesn't mean on the ATG p4p list hel'l rank higher than them because he won't: why's that? Easy, back to the beginning - because they are P4P better than him.

So it's very relevant depending on what you're discussing. some of us are discussing 'greatness' which is fundamentally as abstract a concept as "p4p" comparisons

Read the title of the thread and tell me it's relevant?

BTW, i think Barrera and Morales are more skilled then Hatton, but like i say, it has nothing to do with the question in this thread. So why bring it into an argument?

I'll tell you why! It's called ihaterickyhattonitios.

by p4p ur meaning the weight intangibles dont matter, mab and morales both comfortably decision hatton. better skills, better chins.

but if they moving up in weight, to 140, they get knocked out prime or not. same as pac will be on may ha2nd.

but i hate these p4p questions, ones like who wins floyd vs roy jones junior p4p? no one will know, its liking getting a boxer to compete at mma, fantasy, the size difference makes it silly, could pretty boy handle being punched at that weight? ifs buts maybes
