Pac already ranks higher All time even without the Hatton win IMO.

most of pacman's resume were past prime fighters or not clear cut victories.

        not to hate either

in my opinon, pac's best victories are against barrera the 1st fight, and the marquez fights.. and i along with many others thought marquez won both those fights against pacman.. how does pac get credit for beating zombie de la hoya and pbf doesnt when they were at a higher weight and pbf had to concede to everything? its hatred.. pac gets credit for beating a faded morales and barerra (2nd fight) and has life and death matches with marquez, beats a zombie, and a contender in diaz and all the sudden he shoots pass mayweather for atg great rankings?? nah sorry i cant go with that

I can't wait for this fight to happen. I would imagine this will be the only fight that Floyd will do a catch weight.

But floyd missed a lot of names. too many, and that's what hurts his legacy. Manny has fought the better competition. Floyd especially in the higher weight classes has missed quite a few opponents that fans want to see. how many can you name that manny's missed?
Also Manny has 5 world titles in 5 weight classes. more lineal championships & an overall better body of work than floyd in their respetive weight classes.

Not to say Manny would beat floyd cuz i think floyd would win an easy UD, but being the greater fighter isn't all about talent or ability. it's about in ring performance, achievements, dominance & mainstream appeal. Floyds left too many question marks in too many divisions(not to say that they are all his fault, or vice versa) & unfortunately that does hurt him at the end of the day.

About the credit for each's victory over oscar, floyd was more than a 2-1 fav, oscar was 201 over manny. history shows the story of the underdog hits mainstream appeal. personally i dont give manny too much credit for oscar, he was dead at the weight. but u have to admit you most were shocked when he made de la hoya quit.

Pacquiao and Mayweather aren't in the same room of SRR. SRR lost once or twice at his best depending on who you ask. Most seem to put it at one. Besides going undefeated as an amateur which I hear he beat Willie Pep, as a Pro, he lost to MW Jake LaMotta and Randy Turpin. Both losses he avenged. With LaMotta, Ray went from WW to MW. With Turpin, it was on his European tour when he was fighting many fights in such a close range that he was more than likely to lose.

                  Pac was knocked out twice.
yeah, pretty much all rays 19 losses came after age 35 or 36 im pretty sure

in fact if he retired permanently after losing to maxim he would have only had 3 losses out of like 150 fights at that point

i love both guys but i think pacs resume beats floyds resume.. but skillwise floyd is better ofcourse.. its just pac fought better oppositions IMO..

Pacquiao definatly. Based off pretty much what everyone else has brought up. Although I'd still have to compare Pacquiao's W and Floyd's W. If Pacquiao wins a close decision it would bring him down a bit in comparison than if he got the KO. It would still be impressive and I'd put Pacquiao ahead but not by as much.
