Hatton could always box. Watch the Urango and Tackie fights. He dances in and out popping his opponent with jabs, lead hooks, and lead rights. he's always been capable against the right opponent. Floyd will emphasize it more maybe, but he wont teach Hatton anything new.

Hatton hasn't change in my eyes even with Mayweather Sr as his trainer. His last two wins are overrated from low class fighters.

During 24/7 episode 2 Moore and Roach were watching tapes of Hatton. They said Hatton was overrated, he always go back to his old ways, and he didn't learn that much with Mayweather. Of course it takes time for a boxer to adjust to a new trainer. Do you think Hatton can show something new that may surprise Pacquiao?

I think Graham was holding Hatton back, (I mean he was using a body bag for the Mayweather fight), of course Hatton has to be grateful for Graham, but Hatton should of dropped Graham as a trainer years ago.

floyd sr did improve hatton, but roach and moorer are correct: hatton reverts to his old self.

hatton could've KOed malignaggi before the 8th if he'd have just slowed down a little and not smother his punches.

hatton doesn't know how to controll space, he just rushes in and ends up smothering his punches.

did u see how jmm in their 2nd fight & david diaz go down from that punch from MP?

MP's feet were firmly planted on the ground when he delivered the punch that put these 2 down... he was almost standing straight! MP needed very little space...

and oh yes boss... if u think that collazo landing power shots on hatton was not a problem, u better watch the vid again...

and IMO, floyd aint adding anything new to RH...

those skills (jabbing while coming in, head movement & defense) was already there with hatton long before the tszyu fight... i suggest u watch the tackie fight...

and yes, i incidentally picked hatton to win over MP...not because of styles but bcoz i am afraid i have this feeling it will be like pryor & arguello all over again...

the guy who was a natural 140 (pryor/hatton) will just be too much for the one going up in weight... (arguello/pacquiao)...

you mention the tackie fight hatton always had the jab and skills, i think what Snr has done is bring them skills back but add more to them.

I think it's probably helped him improve and tighten up a little and in the ed he was just going through the motions with Graham. However I can't see how he has improved enough to get into a proper boxing match with the likes of a Pacquiao or PBF.

i think pac man is taking Hatton way way 2 lightly, as is his camp, after watching 24/7 part 2

he's got his wife thier with 2 weeks to go, having fun with his sparring partners, the trainers dont know who the lead trainer is and dismissive of hattons skills....doesnt bode well
