Floyd is awesome. He is ******ly good at this boxing business.

Plays patiently with the audience and picks his fights so that they intrigue (DLH, Hatton) and make HUGE amounts of moneys.

Floyd's ability is unmatched, it would be fair to remember his as the ultimate craftsman, slip and slide and BOOM (dear dear Ricky ) He is content to just sit back and wait and wait and wait and wait and this is why he gets no love. Yes, his defence and counterpunching might be unmatched in the sport, but we the Forumers have gotten used to watching JMM, Vasquez and such in amazing fights where both offence and amazing technical skills are involed!

And that is why, he gets no love.

I really think if he paid a little less attention to the 0 and concentrated on going after guys (for which he has the skills, just not the will) he'd get waaay more loving.

Until then, Floyd sucks.

Floyd is weigh-in at 147 so he should fight 147 fighters. He shouldn't win any respect for urging guys to go up in weight if they want to fight him. He can just ignore them and fight a real welterweight. He wont gain much respect for beating guys that made their living at 135. Floyd Mayweather has fought plenty of times now at 147, but hasn't fought the real competition. he's the only fighter that that is refusing to fight fighers in his own weight class. not just one, but he doesn't want to get in the ring with any of the best.

All he has to do is fight the big boys. Prove everyone wrong, but its a little too late for him to start fighting the real fighters unless he plans on retiring three years from now, but he won't he just wants to fight JMM and Pacman, but he wants to fight them in a weight class that they will never rule, because they're too small and so is Mayweathers heart.
