Hatton Pac how I see it

How I see the fight playing out in my head:

    R1
They meet in the center. Pac circling to his left Ricky stalking him at a measured pace. Pac throws a flicking left straight, the same one he caught Oscar with but Ricky leans back and it misses. Ricky lands a counter jab of the miss and they clinch. Rickys footspeed is confusing Pac a little, hes missing more than he thought and Hatton manages to rough him up on the ropes a bit.
    Hatton 10-9

    R2
Pac comes out more aggresisive thrwoing a left but missing Hatton, bringing them to a clinch. Hatton gets in a few body shots here. Pac seems to be taking them well. Ricky trying to bully pac to the ropes but he spins off, and fires a fast flurry, nothing really lands. Hard round to score with not many clean shots but a bit more roughhousing. Ricky lands a stiff jab that stunned Manny for a bit and he chases him to the ropes.
    Hatton 10-9

    R3
Fight is a bit more measured pace now, not as frantic as the beggining, and this favors Pac. He's landing a bit more with lead lefts, but Ricky is just shrugging them off. No 3rd round knockout here. However, Pac found a more comfortable rhythm in this round as he took some time to adjust to the quicker than anticipated footwork of Hatton.
    10-9 Pac

    R4
More of the same of R3- lead lefts and nice movement from Manny. His punches aren't hurting Ricky as much as some thought. The lead left is giving Hatton trouble- its not a hard shot, but just straight and quick, like the one Oscar was getting hit with. Moments when Hatton is getting isndie work done are fewer, and Manny has learned to hold him and stand his ground til Bayless breaks them up.
    Pac 10-9

    R5
Ricky comes out determined; good head movement and a jab to start the round. Manny taking his time also, Ricky trying to get inside but Manny spins out and lands a light flurry. They brawl for a bit and end in a clinch. Ricky face started to look a bit busted up now. Ricky stalking manny, he pops in with that stiff jab and stuns manny again, bring hium to the ropes where he lands some good shots. British crowd is loving it. Pac gets out and raises his arms, but he looked hurt there.
    10-9 Hatton

    R6
Pac cricling left ricky stalking..manny thrwos a 1-2 and steps sideways and back; Ricky follows him and walks into a hard short straight left! That was the first shot it looked like Ricky felt. Manny is on him but ricky managed to dodge further damamge and they end in a clinch. Pac outboxes him for this round.
    10-9 Pac

    R7
Pac has found his rhythm again and is timing hatton with lead lefts and combos after he turns ricky. Pacs stamina is looking great and hes turning it up more in this round. Ricky walked into a few shots and his face is looking busted up now.
    Pac 10-9

    R8
Last round was pretty big for Pac but he starts measured again, ricky stalking. Hes taking a step back when ricky steps in, shooting a combo, then turning ricky. Ricky is getting a bit desperate here. He gets Pac on the ropes and is digging in shots, Pac throws a winging left hook shot that clips Hatton on the temple- same spot where lazcano and MW hurt him. He wobbles, and ends in a clinch with Pac. Pac senses his man is hurt and goes right after him. Catching Ricky with some combinations on the ropes!
    Pac 10-9

    R9
Rickys face is bustd up and hes slowing down...hes still the ones talking pac though and he catches a right hook on the temple which wobbles him again. Pac goes in for the kill! Ricky is on the ropes, covering up Bayless watching intently. Pac flurrying on the ropes and Bayless stops the fight.

    PAC TKO late rounds

Thats how I see the fight. Pac will have to survive the early storm and shock of the bigger man. IF he can do this and take Rickys punches, I think he wins. However, he might not be able to take the punches; thats why this fight is so hard to call. I could see either man dominating, but this is how i see it- Ricky taking it early, but Pac coming on around the 4th-5th rounds and taking over.

I'm basing my predictions on their last fights. Hatton did not hold/wrestled/bully the speedy Malignaggi. Hatton used a lot of head movement, more than expected, and used his jab to close the gap between him and Paulie while throwing head snapping uppercuts in the inside.

Pacquiao will try to fight from a distance, he did it to defenseless DLH. He's gonna throw that overrated straight left that when he throws it he gets off balance and opened which is a no-no against Ricky. Manny has never been good as an inside fighter so he should keep his distance and try potshotting his way to vitory. Hatton will come charging in using decent head movement and quick footwork with that jab.

Hatton by one-sided UD. No KD's in the fight I think they'll both take eachothers shots quite well. If there's any stoppage, my safe bet is Hatton from round 10 or beyond but i doubt they'll be any KD's or stoppages.

I don't think Pac will leave himself to open unless he gets overagressive.

How many times did he leave himself open for DLH?

Like I said though, I could see every conceivable outcome being viable in thsi fight.

He left himself open a whollllllllllllle bunch of times in the Diaz, Oscar and JMM fights. Oscar fainted too much and couldn't pull the trigger, Diaz was there to make Pacman look good and JMM made Pacman pay several times for that off balance straight left.

Interesting. I do have to say I feel a little better about Ricky's chances after reading this.
