I dont want to say that I never liked him as a person but it was 1 step away. As a fighter I loved him though. Im biased towards boxers since most people hate boxers and nothing is prettier then a Slick Southpaw. I loved the moves he was doing with Roach tonight. I think that could really help Pac and turn him into a monsterous counter puncher with great technique if Hatton runs in there all wild. I also liked it last week when they showed him lifting up Pac in those drills and when he was telling Pac to land and get out of there because Hatton is going to want to wrestle. Infact, the matchup between Roach-Moore vs Floyd Sr. is just as good as the fight itself

After watching the first two 24/7 episodes, I have no doubt in my mind that Moorer is an asset to Pac's training camp.

However, they just keep portraying him as an a$$hole (maybe he is in real life, I don't know). The HBO video editors are doing a very fine job making Moorer a total jerk.

i've been chastized for calling michael moorer a bum....I think he is a true bum....he got a gift a majority decision against holyfield....in the rematch he got ko'd by holyfield...ko'd by a 46 year old fat george foreman....lasted 30 seconds against david tua, and got destroyed by body shots in that fight.....I think roach is being nice to him, and his helping roach through his parkinson's which shows moorer is somewhat of a nice guy....but in my books, his a nothing but a paper champ....he had a reputation for poor work ethic too....i really dont see what he brings to the table except to help roach....you watch if pac loses....michael moorer is going to take so much **** in the forums from pac fans.

wait, do you mean michael moorer? i'm guessing that's who you mean and my answer would be that the way he conducts himself during interviews is a little off putting, but you can tell he's a fairly decent guy.

Dude, there's no way that the first Moorer - Holy fight a gift decision. And, Moorer as a heavyweight was just the second portion of his boxing career. At light-heavy, Moorer was a beast!

From what I've seen on t.v. and online reports, I think the PAC camp knows where everyone stands. Roach is the chief and Moorer is there to give pointers. Who better else to give pointers to a great southpaw but another southpaw.

Trust me, I'm a lefty. Only another lefty truly understands what being a southpaw is about! No one knows our strengths and weaknesses better than another southpaw. Everyone else is looking from the outside in.

My concern is, and it's no secret, the PAC plan is to box Fatton and not get into a phone booth war with Vicky. But, I hope they also have a plan B for when PAC does get tangled up with Vicky, they gotta give PAC a playbook on how to fight in the clinch. 'Cause I don't think they can fend off Vicky all-night.
