Yeah I thought they were mostly borderline. Didn't stop Solis from throwing those body puinches though. Those looked painfull.

Just watched Hagler - Leonard and they were both throwing real low, but no complaints.

I also thought all the punches were borderline and most of them were because Viloria was holding Solis's head.

it kinda reminded me of Marquez/Vazquez 3, where really non of marquez's shots were low, just on that belt line.

It was a great fight. Archie should have tried to thow more right hands.

When I heard that shot land, the one in the gif you posted, I knew the fight was over. IT WAS THAT DAMN LOUD. It was so hard the tv cracked :fight: Good come back for the Hawiian Punch and I would have hated to be the judge in this fight as it was pretty even but I think it was edgeing towards Viloria as his punches were doing just a little more damage but it was back and forth action.

It was a great fight. Nip and tuck affair all the way to the brutal ending. I liked JMM-Diaz better so far for FOTY simply because of the bigger names involved but Viloria-Solis is no less compelling to watch. It been a great 2009 for boxing so far.
