He explains right after he said it. The best punch of that fight could have been the last right hand that Ali would have hit him with when he went down, but he didn't do it. He saw how messed up George was and knew he was finished. If he had thrown a last right hand while George was going down and couldn't handle himself the knockout would have been that much more brutal.

The best punch of a fight is the the final knockout blow. I guess Foreman feels that definitive ending punch was never thrown by Ali. You know, the type that ends any possibility of a ten count
Anyways, I've never heard of this "Facing Ali" documentary, I'm guessing it's based on the book "Facing Ali"
However, last thing I wanna hear is Larry Holmes boasting and bragging about his victory over Ali...Comment
