How is it better for the sport if Pacquiao wins?

That seems like a ridiculous statement.

Because the options for him would be more exciting than the options for Hatton.

No one wants to see Hatton/Mayweather 2. Hatton/Marquez won't get people excited.

But Pac/Mayweather is big. Pac/JMM 3 is big. Plus, Pac would probably fight Cotto if the situation was right, and that would be big. Hatton never would.

Both are consumate Profesionals
Neither are ignorant/arrogant
Both are exciting to watch
Both are Gentlemen (out of the ring)

I'm Anglo/Irish from East London but live & work in Thailand where Pac is well respected.
I've voted for Ricky to honor my roots, as well as my many friends in Manchester.
Because of this, I've looked for every possible way that Ricky can win, and every possible way that Manny can lose.. I think I've said enough..
Most predictions in boxing, are made from the heart & not the brain.
This is why, I won't break down & cry if Ricky loses.
I'll just have to pay my Thai friends their winnings (no big stakes)
Hope just one person can take a leaf out of my book, because this isn't World War 3 !!!

i love to see hatton getting knock out.pacquiao style of fighting will continue to shine, a lot of chances coming up for boxing if he wins.but if hatton wins.BOXING is no more.i will hate it.

At first I was gonna support Pacquiao just because i'm sick of Hatton's bloody chavvy fans who don't watch any boxing other than Hatton fights. Although then Pacquiao's push for more than 50% left a sour taste in my mouth and now i'm leaning back slightly towards Hatton just for patriotic reasons.
