Donaire was really impressive. This was really an all-action fight card. Arum's done a pretty good job with these independent cards (well except the Cotto and Pavlik card).

It was originally supposed to be Donaire Vs. Montiel today but Montiel couldn't make the weight but now it seems to be a great possibility. Donaire does have to move up now. He himself has said that making 112 was becoming very difficult to do.

Vic will have to leave Shaw for this to happen.

Shaw has said more than once on Showtime cards, it will never happen even though Vic said he wanted it.

Darchinyan is also fighting for at bantamweight in June. Donaire - Montiel is a possibility but for Donaire - Darchinyan 2 to be a possibility, Gary Shaw should suck it up and make the fight.

I want Donaire to make a stop 1st at 115 against a title Holder before he finally move up to 118. As long as he's not drained at 115 I recommend just one fight just to get a Title. It will be good for his overrall resume by the time he retires.

I hate the stoppage.

I wanted to see that guy get punished and knocked down for about 3 more rounds.

he's 24-1 and still young.

no point ruining the kid.

he got caught early and was in with an elite fighter.

time to go back to the gym and work on some stuff and get some easy fights to regain the confidence. he's still young.
